Shania (2021) is by RVVR DreamCatcher (grandson of Mr Jess Perry) and out of CTR Pepto Twistin. She has a strong race pattern on the top and an excellent cowhorse pattern on the bottom. Twistin Hickory 30, her grandmother in the direct mother line, is a 3/4 sister to High Brow Cat. One would think that this cross is crazy - but it was done before and it was done successfully. Miss N Cash was by Dash For Cash and out of a mare by Doc Bar. He had LTE of 124'662 and PE of over $4.6 Mio! In the Quarter Horse News was a great write-up of this extraordinary stallion. This filly is not only a fabulous prospect but also a promising broodmare!
To cross RVVR DreamCatcher with some of our cutting and ranch bred mares has proven to be a great choice. He consistently produces prospects that are fast, quick and have a trainable dispostion. I like him as he is a quiet minded stallion and crosses well with some of our hotter cow horse mares. Also, he is a smaller horse (~ 14.3 h), very well built and with an incredible athleticism that is not typical for straight race bred horses. All this makes him an ideal out-cross for our breeding program!
